Take It Artside! grows out of a commitment to collaborative, cross-disciplinary, community-engaged research and the vision for enhancing the value of Central Kentucky’s vibrant and growing public art initiatives. Central Kentucky is its own open-air museum, home to inspiring, thought-provoking, educational, and beautiful art work, and its citizens and visitors will be able to develop more meaningful relationships with its art through the Take It Artside! Application. Take it Artside! encourages users to experience the art at their own pace and invites interaction with the works through games, tours, and lesson plans. So go ahead, Take it Artside!

The collection of content for this application is a collaborative effort among the University of Kentucky Art Department, The Gaines Center for the Humanities, and the Georgetown College Art Department.
